The exhibition showcases representatives of two generations of Ukrainian artist-photographers, Maxim Dondyuk and Olexandr Glyadyelov. Through their cameras they have documented the horrors of Russian aggression: air strikes on residential neighborhoods, mass graves, bombardments of civilian and village infrastructure, destroyed equipment, wounded and murdered bodies of Ukrainian civilians. Their styles are very different, but their work is always recognizable. And above all, their talent is accompanied by courage, as both photographers have been covering the war in Ukraine since 2014, and have regularly gone to the front lines to recount the exploits and tragedies, of locals and combatants alike. Today, every Ukrainian has his or her own, sometimes very personal, story of the war. This collective trauma radically alters the viewer's perspective, transforming the exhibition of war photographs into a kind of psychotherapy session in a country at war.
